What I’m drinking at the moment.  What I’ve learned about wine and the making of it.  In short, what we might talk about if we were in my wine cellar lifting a glass.  Hopefully this will be informative as well as fun.  My aim, also, is to select wines that are readily available and affordable for most people.

    And if you’re wondering who Defarge is, well ... you’ll probably notice a French prejudice, for which I won’t apologize.  I also recommend you read A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.   A classic story featuring a wine merchant (and his wife) as everyday folks working for freedom, and willing to pay the ultimate price to ensure it.
